In Norway, three people received specific malignant variant of swine flu. Two of them are dead. DISCONTINUE says that the new mutation of swine influenza (H1N1) attack further down into the lungs, and therefore dangerous. Three Norwegians have the new mutation, but it is also seen in other countries.

In Norway, the Board of Health urges all flu sick to take Tamiflu, so they have the virus in the body in so short a time as possible to reduce the risk of mutations. There are no reported something about how in Norway will manage the risk of a Tamiflu-resistant disease.

The mutated virus was found in three out of 70 samples tested at laboratories in Norway and England.
